Message From Managing Director

	National Medical College was established in the year 2001. This Medical College is the dream project of my eldest brother Dr. Jainuddin Ansari, a Surgeon of high professional stature and a national figure for his contributions to social justice in health, peace and many sectors of development of this Himalayan Country. I feel privileged being the Managing Director of this Medical College. I still have the fresh memories of the horrifying experiences during the days of our struggle to establish this college. There were many odds standing against our strong vision and determination of establishing a Medical College to produce competent manpower for the health sector as well as providing quality health services.
MD. Basaruddin Ansari (Managing Director)	Acquiring the required amount of land, mobilizing finance, recruitment of qualified manpower, and procuring expensive medical equipments were not that easy going for us in the initial stages
without support from finance institutions. We had to face a lots of difficulty with the agencies that supplies medical equipments and other required logistics for the hospital. Against all these odds we just continued to work hard with clear and honest intention to reach our goal. There is the saying “If there is a will, there is a way”. This saying came to be true in our case also. In course of time, many financial institutions came forward for financial support seeing the steady but rapid progress of this Medical College. In terms of the huge infrastructure, rich manpower and sophisticated medical equipments and teaching aid materials, this Medical College has progressed to such phenomenal height much beyond to our own expectations. As the Managing Director of this Medical College, I make this personal assurance that the academic aspects, all comforts and safety of the students is our topmost priority. This College offers the best opportunity to aspiring students to fulfill their dream of getting world class education and training in health sciences.
