The curriculum of MBBS course has been designed and tailored in such a way that after completion of five and a half years course, Medical Graduates will become competent enough to carry out the clinical, preventable, promotional and administrative functions efficiently. The course is community oriented with problem-based integrated learning teaching activities.

The college believes that the medical education and delivery of Health Care should go hand in hand, if a meaningful impact on health care of the general public is to be anticipated from an institution like this. Therefore, the course has been shaped and designed in such a way that the exposure of students with patients at the hospital from the very first week of the course, will motivate them to pick up skills of communication while taking history from them. Likewise, computer has come to play a very important role in every walk of our life. Realizing its importance in general and benefits of students in particular, it has also been included in the course as "Application of Computer in Health Sciences". Thus, National Medical College aims at overall development of its students by making them most competent, highly knowledgeable and full of professional skills in medical field.
